While it is important to firmly fortify opposition to environmental, animal and human injustice, the focus steers towards prevention and creates immobility. In my day to day life, I set my intentions and focus towards Utopia, the place which yet does not exist.
Openness
I believe in open, freely accessible and transparent systems.
Sharing resources, making knowledge accessible, building open software and alternative infrastructure.
Longetivity
I believe in repairing, recycling, reusing and repurposing.
Sustaining the value of inventory items shall come in favor of new aquisition whenever possible.
Compassion
I believe in treating others the same way I want to be treated. Every living being deserves compassion and being cared for. I believe in causing as little harm as possible, propagating non-violence and kindness towards others and myself.
Degrowth
I belive in self-organised communities that favor social justice, resilience, co-operation and autonomy over growth and personal profits. I consider the GDP an insufficient indicator for prosperity. I believe, to fully be able to take on responsibility of ourselves, our communities and the planet as a whole, we require a universal basic income or better yet, universal basic services.
