A loftbed with history.

I built this loftbed with a friend in 2007. The wooden beams came from another friends' parents attic. Preparing the material took at least as long as building the loftbed itself. After we moved out of the appartment a few years later, the parts went into a basement where they have been ever since.

After dwelling on the idea for a few months I finally rebuilt the bed from much of the same material in 2022, turning it into a gallery style playground for my son.
